Meet our Clinical Director

Sharon completed her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Ottawa in 2003. Since then, she has passionately contributed to advancing services and supports for autistic children, adolescents, and adults in the Ottawa area and beyond.
Sharon taught courses on Communication Disorders in Special Populations and Assistive Technologies to Support Reading and Writing at the University of Ottawa for several years, as well as in the speech-language pathology program at l’IHEPS, a Moroccan university. She also taught at La Cité collégiale in the Techniques d'éducation spécialisée on the topics of autism and intellectual disability.
Over the years, she has developed and led numerous training sessions and workshops on autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, and preschool language, communication and play skills in both French and English, reaching numerous parents, educators, and clinicians.

Sharon’s career has been dedicated to offering services to neurodivergent children, youth and adults, and to creating and leading innovative programs that enhance communication and social skills children and youth such as Camp Été Fou, a unique summer camp focused on building social communication skills through fun and engaging activities for children and youth with autism and Sam-dit-Turbo.

Sharon is also an experienced clinical supervisor and mentor, supporting graduate students and new professionals entering the field of speech-language pathology. Driven by a vision of inclusive, bilingual services, she founded ABC Pediatric Therapies to offer accessible, multidisciplinary services to families, with a special focus on complex needs.
Outside her work, Sharon enjoys time with her four children and husband, creating therapy materials, staying active with various sports, and exploring new places through travel.
